By the end of May this year, China's total installed capacity of power generation was 3.61 billion kilowatts, an increase of 18.8% over the same period last year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power was 1.08 billion kilowatts , with the largest year-on-year increase of 56.9% . In the first five months of
this year, the installed capacity of solar power increased by 1978.5 million kilowatts (197.85 GW). In May , the newly installed photovoltaic capacity was 92.92 GW , an increase of 388.03% over the same period.

Among them, the installed capacity of solar power was 1.08 billion kilowatts, up 56.9% year on year; the installed capacity of wind power was 570 million kilowatts, up 23.1% year on year.
From January to May, the accumulative average utilization of power generation equipment in China was 1249 hours, 132 hours lower than that of the same period last year; the completed investment in power supply projects of major power generation enterprises in China was 257.8 billion yuan, an increase of 0.4% over the same period last year; the completed investment in power grid projects was 204 billion yuan, an increase of 19.8% over the same period last year.
