According to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, on October 15, Chinese enterprises Wuhan Building Materials Industrial Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Yijing Optoelectronics signed cooperation agreements with the country respectively.
Wuhan Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd. plans to build a 500MW solar power plant in Sughd Province; Yijing Photoelectricity plans to build a 500MW solar power plant in Khatlon Prefecture. According to
the data, Wuhan Building Materials Industry Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. belongs to China Building Materials Group and was established in July 1993. Its business scope covers solar power generation technology services .
It is noteworthy that on October 1, Shanghai Electric , a Chinese photovoltaic company , has also signed a 342 MW photovoltaic general contracting project in Palau , Romania, with Yike New Energy Company.
As of October 1, Shanghai Electric has undertaken four photovoltaic projects in the area , of which Palau Phase I 91.4MW and Skurtu 56MW photovoltaic projects have been completed, and Ovidi 60MW photovoltaic project is under construction.
