In 2024, the output of ready-mixed concrete decreased by 200 million cubic meters compared with the previous year, and by 800 million cubic meters compared with the peak year (2021), a decrease of nearly a quarter (-24.3%).

On February 26, the "2025 China Large-scale Ready-mixed Concrete Enterprise Leaders Meeting (C10 + Summit)" was held in Changsha, Hunan Province. Gao Zhi, Secretary-General of China Concrete and Cement Products Association, made a report on the meeting.

Gao Zhi said that in 2024, the output of ready-mixed concrete of enterprises in the industry was 2.49 billion cubic meters, down 10.1% from the same period last year (output value was about 850 billion yuan).

In 2023 , it will be 2.69 billion cubic meters, with an output value of 1.05 trillion yuan;

in 2022 , it will be 3.03 billion cubic meters, with an output value of 1.27 trillion yuan;

In 2021 , it was 3.29 billion cubic meters, with an output value of 1.3 trillion yuan.

provinces,

the output of ready-mixed concrete will increase in four provinces in 2024: Hubei, Beijing, Xizang and Hunan.

In 2024, the output of ready-mixed concrete decreased in 27 provinces, including

Qinghai, Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu and Jiangxi provinces with a decrease of more than 20%, and

Chongqing, Xinjiang, Shanghai and Jilin provinces with a decrease of more than 15%;

With the addition of Guizhou, Gansu, Shandong, Guangdong and other seven provinces, the output of 15 provinces and regions in China has declined by two digits.

In terms of regional distribution, the clinker production capacity of Anhui, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces all exceeds 100 million tons, ranking the top three in the country, while Shanghai and Macao have no clinker production capacity layout.
