West China Cement and Sinohydro Bureau III Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Expand Overseas Market

On October 14, Western China Cement and China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Third Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as "the Third Hydropower Bureau") signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the headquarters of the Group. The two sides will adhere to the principle of "complementary advantages and win-win cooperation", work together to expand emerging markets such as Africa and Central Asia, and build an overseas benchmarking model of "China Construction + China Building Materials" through resource integration and risk sharing.

Wang Qi pointed out that the two sides have established a stable foundation for cooperation in local projects in Shaanxi. The Third Hydropower Engineering Bureau currently undertakes a number of national key projects, and the local supply capacity of cement in the western region will provide strong support for the project. The future cooperation will focus on three major directions: first, to build a localized supply chain to serve Shaanxi Pumped Storage Power Station and other projects; second, to promote the synergy of "overseas projects + local production capacity", combining the engineering advantages of the Third Hydropower Bureau in Guinea, the Philippines, Central Asia and other places, and to achieve linkage with the production capacity of Western Cement in Africa and Central Asia; Third, we will build a platform for cooperation, deepen cooperation in specific projects such as Angola, Congo (Kinshasa) and Mozambique, and jointly contribute to the high-quality development of energy construction and building materials industry in the new era.
