On October 14, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued a notice on the demolition of the cement clinker production line of Xinjiang Tunhe Cement Co., Ltd. for capacity replacement.
The announcement shows that according to the requirements of the Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Issuance of the Measures for the Implementation of Capacity Replacement in the Cement and Glass Industry (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, original [2024] 206), on-site verification and confirmation were made. It is hereby announced that the Φ4.6 × 68m (daily output of 4,000 tons) cement clinker production line replaced by Xinjiang Tunhe Cement Co., Ltd. to Guangxi Chongzuo Southern Cement Co., Ltd. in September 2020 has been shut down and dismantled . According to
public information, Xinjiang Tunhe Cement Co., Ltd. is a holding subsidiary of Tianshan Stock, a subsidiary of China Building Materials Group. Previously, on September 27, 2023, the enterprise had been cancelled.
