On March 4, Gezhouba Cement held the first safety production committee meeting in Wuhan headquarters in 2024 to study and deploy the key work of safety production. Gui Tongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board and Director of the Safety Production Committee of Gezhouba Cement, presided over the meeting and made a speech.
The meeting conveyed the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of safety in production and the instructions of Premier Li Qiang, the three-year action plan for tackling the root causes of safety in production and the spirit of the work conference on safety in production at higher levels. The objectives and tasks of safety production for Gezhouba Cement in 2024, the responsibility letter for safety production in 2024, and the list of advanced units and individuals for safety production in 2023 were considered and approved.
The meeting pointed out that 2024 is the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China, and also the key year for the company to implement the "14th Five-Year Plan" and build a first-class building materials provider. At present, Gezhouba Cement is accelerating the extension of international business and industrial chain, vigorously promoting low-carbon development and digital transformation, and gradually implementing annual maintenance projects. In addition, the National "Two Sessions" are being held, and the company's safety production is still facing great challenges and pressures. The company should recognize the situation, tighten the safety chord, grasp the measures more firmly, and work more firmly, so as to ensure the company's high-quality development with a high level of safety.
Gui Tongsheng put forward three requirements for the implementation of the spirit of this meeting and the safety production work of the company:

We should earnestly improve our political standing and deeply realize that safety in production concerns the well-being of workers and the overall situation of the company's reform and development, and is an insurmountable red line. Leaders at all levels and all employees must shoulder the responsibility of safe production, strictly implement the statutory requirements of "three management and three necessities", thoroughly implement the "ten leading" of safe production, strengthen the implementation of territorial management responsibilities, and promote the formation of a "big safety" work pattern with the same desire from top to bottom.
Second, systematic planning, precise efforts, and overall planning to carry out the three-year action to tackle the root causes of production safety.
We should earnestly study and implement the requirements of the Three-year Action Plan for Safety Production, formulate implementation plans in light of the actual situation of the company and the annual work arrangement for safety production, coordinate the three-year action for safety production, urge the implementation of various measures for safety production, and constantly consolidate the work foundation for safety production. Effectively prevent and curb production safety accidents.
Third, we should take various measures simultaneously, make unremitting efforts and resolutely do a good job in all aspects of current work safety.
We should carry out a solid investigation and renovation of production safety and a major inspection of production safety in spring, focus on key areas and key links, carry out inspection led by leaders, joint inspection by departments and self-inspection by various units, strictly implement the single sales number and closed-loop rectification of hidden problems, and make every effort to ensure that the company's production safety situation remains stable during the "two sessions"; We should do a good job in the resumption of production in non-coal mines, carry out safety training for the resumption of production, strictly implement the relevant procedures and procedures for the resumption of production, and strictly prohibit the organization of production when the conditions for safe production are not available, hidden dangers are not eliminated and safety measures are not in place; It is necessary to strengthen the safety management of maintenance, implement the requirements of the Manual of Standardization of Safety Management in Maintenance Process, strictly implement the safety maintenance management mode of "three pairs, one closure, four steps and two confirmations", and ensure the safe and smooth implementation of maintenance projects.
