Tianjin Transportation Commission, disclosed that the next step would be to accelerate the preliminary work of Tianjin Binhai International Airport Phase III, Shijiazhuang Airport Reconstruction and Expansion, Tangshan Airport Reconstruction and Expansion, and to build the first section of Jinjing City (Suburb) Railway in 2024; Speed up the construction of Xiongshang, Xiongxin, Tianjin-Weifang High-speed Railway and Beijing-Binhai Intercity Railway (South Section), speed up the reconstruction and expansion of Chengping Expressway, Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway and Cangzhou Section of Rongwu Expressway, speed up the preliminary work of Capital Area Ring Line (Tanglang Expressway Phase II), Jingde Expressway and Bintang Expressway, and upgrade and transform some inter-provincial interface roads.
It is understood that Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei have recently issued investment plans for 2024 major projects. The total investment in key projects in Beijing
this year is about 1.2 trillion yuan, of which 281.1 billion yuan is planned to be completed in the year, including 100 major infrastructure projects. These 100 infrastructure projects involve 12 metro lines, in addition to the new Capital Airport Line, Wangjing South Station and Line 1 Branch Line. It will also continue to build the first phase of Line 3, Line 12, the remaining section of Changping Line South Extension Phase I, the remaining section of Line 17, Line 22 (Pinggu Line), Line 28 (CBD Line), Line 13 expansion and upgrading, Daxing Airport Line North Extension, Line 101 Phase I and Line 6 Phase II (South Extension Section).
Arrange 26 railway and highway projects. For example, in terms of railways, Yizhuang Line of Suburban Railway will be built, Beijing Tunnel Section of Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway, Intercity Railway Liaison Line (Phase I), S6 Line of Suburban Railway (T3 Terminal-Daxing New Town Section) will be continued; in terms of highways, Jingmi Expressway (Airport South Line-Sixth Ring Road), Laibao Road New Line Expressway and 108 New Line Expressway will be built.
According to the Tianjin Development and Reform Commission, Tianjin recently released a list of 1060 key projects at the municipal level with a total investment of 2.01 trillion yuan, with the number and scale of projects reaching a record high. In 2024, there are 639 key construction projects in Hebei Province, with a total investment of 1.38 trillion yuan and an estimated annual investment of 220 billion yuan. It covers infrastructure and other fields.
