On February 19, after a comprehensive inspection and test run, Taiwan Cement in Guigang began to resume production after the Spring Festival, showing a busy scene everywhere.
Guigang Taini was settled in Huanglian Town, Tantang District in 2005. The project is divided into two phases to build four clinker cement production lines with a daily output of 6000 tons , nine sets of cement mills with an annual output of 1 million tons, two sets of 21 MW pure low-temperature waste heat generating units and supporting auxiliary production facilities and living facilities such as special wharfs and special railway lines. "In recent years, TCC has devoted itself to reducing the carbon emissions of cement products and concrete, penetrating the concept of green environmental protection into every corner of the company, and actively promoting the green and high-quality development of enterprises through innovative application of new energy-saving and low-carbon environmental protection technologies and processes, research and development of low-carbon products, and adjustment of energy structure." In 2019, Guigang Taini fully invested in the construction of an environmental protection company, using the existing clinker production line, to build a cement kiln co-disposal project with the largest number of hazardous wastes licensed by a single plant in mainland China, and to put solid wastes that meet or meet the requirements of entering the kiln after pretreatment into the cement kiln. While cement clinker is produced, the harmless disposal of solid waste is realized, and the government and enterprises are actively helped to dispose of the emergency waste generated by environmental emergency accidents, so as to help our city build a waste-free city, become an important link in the industrial chain of urban environment "purifier" and circular economy, and promote the transformation of cement industry from "grey manufacturing" to "green intelligent manufacturing". The project was successfully selected as "Guigang Eco-environmental Protection Publicity and Education Practice Demonstration Base" and "Guangxi Eco-environmental Publicity and Education Practice Base". Every year, employees and neighbors are organized to visit the base to study and receive education, so as to cultivate a good fashion of advocating ecological civilization for everyone, everything, at all times and everywhere.
As a national green factory and a national green mine, Guigang Taini adheres to the idea of innovation-led, digital empowerment and green transformation, focusing on new photovoltaic energy, striving to take the lead in achieving carbon neutrality in the industry, and promoting the digitalization and green transformation and upgrading of the cement industry by creating an "intelligent mine". At the same time, we will continue to tackle key technical problems, promote the development of alternative raw and fuel materials technology, give full play to the advantages of Guangxi's timber production as the first in the country, use pure low-temperature drying technology, and use the waste heat of kiln chimney exhaust gas to dry biomass fuel without adding additional hot gas sources, so as to reduce its moisture by more than 20% and maximize the utilization rate of biomass fuel. In addition, the use of biomass fuels and industrial solid waste instead of cement raw materials and fuels can reduce the consumption of natural mineral resources and energy, which can not only solve environmental problems, but also reduce production costs and achieve green and sustainable development of the cement industry. , Guigang and Taiwan mud actively fulfill the obligation of mine ecological restoration, set up their own greening team, and continue to carry out mine greening projects. In 2023, the greening area reached 45 mu, and ornamental trees were planted every two meters on the embankment to further expand the length of the mine greening embankment. At the same time, adjust measures to local conditions, actively revitalize the mining areas that have no mining plans in recent years, and gradually build a mine ecological recycling park. By stocking birds in the park, excavating reservoirs, breeding hundreds of fish in the ponds, planting fruit trees around the reservoirs, making full use of the space of the orchard, building chicken houses in the orchard, free-range chickens, sludge and chicken manure in the reservoirs can improve the nutrition of the orchard. The corn planted feeds chickens, so that crops, fish and chickens form a good ecological cycle.
The use of stable and clean photovoltaic power generation will become one of the important measures for energy saving and carbon reduction in the cement industry. The use of photovoltaic power generation technology can reduce the power consumption in the cement production process, combined with waste heat power generation, to achieve "zero power purchase" or "near zero power purchase". According to reports, Guigang Taini uses solar photovoltaic modules laid in workshops, building roofs and mining industrial sites to generate electricity, and rationally regulates the internal electricity consumption of enterprises, which not only establishes a green and environmentally friendly corporate image, but also saves the cost of electricity consumption. At present, in addition to the photovoltaic power station which has been completed and installed on the top of the building, the company plans to install various types of photovoltaic power generation systems above the idle space, the newly built ore conveying corridor and the reservoir in the plant area, with a peak power generation capacity of 12.6 MW. "talent cultivation" and "skilled enterprises" has made the demand for all kinds of skilled talents more prominent. In May 2023, Guigang Taiwan Cement Training Base was unveiled. The base includes 12 training venues, including theoretical course classrooms, electrician training rooms, automation training rooms, welder training rooms and cement technology training rooms, which can accommodate 120 people for training at the same time. It undertakes the theoretical and practical training, practice and assessment of the company's job skills.
Guigang Taini takes the training base as a platform, according to the planned, targeted, verified and effective training management mode, to build a group of technical backbone with outstanding skills, and further improve the comprehensive competitiveness of the company. While improving the professional knowledge and practical skills of mechanical repairmen, electrical repairmen, forklift workers and central control operators in the factory, the training center provides free training for forklifts, electricians and welders for the surrounding villagers, responding to the policy call of "stabilizing employment and protecting people's livelihood". In the future, we will plan to increase the themes of carbon reduction, renewable energy utilization and circular economy, and expand the base into a sustainable training center within the group. Up to now, the training center has obtained 803 certificates of various skill levels and 218 certificates of various special operations through the "new apprenticeship system" and "job skills upgrading".
