On June 13, the 11th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference and Equipment Renewal Forum, sponsored by China Cement Network, was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Li Kunming, a cement analyst at the Cement Big Data Research Institute of
China Cement Network, made a keynote report on the current situation and future development of energy efficiency in the cement industry. Li Kunming pointed out that coal currently accounts for the majority of energy consumption and cost in the cement industry, and the key to reducing costs and increasing efficiency is to control coal.
In terms of the development and application of new energy, the current installed capacity of photovoltaic in the cement industry is 1 GW, and Li Kunming expects to reach 2 GW in 2025 and 7 GW in 2030.
In terms of alternative fuels, Li Kunming said that alternative fuels have obvious consumption reduction effect and large development space, but there are still some problems, such as single source, unstable calorific value, high moisture content and poor economic benefits.
