2024, the 17th Council Meeting of the Fourth Session of Sichuan Cement Association and the Meeting of Major Cement Enterprises were held in Chengdu.
At the meeting, arrangements were made for peak-shifting production in June 2024, and each clinker production line was shifted for 13 days in June 2024.
It is understood that some provinces will start a new round of off-peak kiln shutdown in June to alleviate the contradiction between supply and demand.
Recently, The Cement Branch of Liaoning Building Materials Industry Association, Jilin Building Materials Industry Association and Heilongjiang Cement Association respectively issued notices on peak staggering production in the cement industry. Cement clinker enterprises are required to shut down kilns for 15 days from June 1. In
May and June, Fujian will stagger the peak for 30 days, and from May 1 to June 30, a total of 30 days will be enough. According to market feedback, at present, some clinker production line enterprises generally begin to implement 15 days of kiln shutdown in June.
