Lafarge Wants to Sell Cement Assets in China, Conch Cement and Other Enterprises May Have Contacted

According to the "2023 Top 100 List of National Cement Clinker Production Capacity" released by China Cement Network, Lafarge ranks 7th in Sichuan. It is noteworthy that Dujiangyan Lafarge is the only three cement clinker enterprises in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, and the other two.

Since last year, there have been rumors in the industry that international cement giant Lahao wants to transfer its cement assets, mainly involving two enterprises in Sichuan, namely Dujiangyan Lafarge and Jiangyou Lahao Shuangma . According to the big data of China Cement Network, the two companies have four cement clinker production lines with a total clinker production capacity of 4.805 million tons .

Among them, Dujiangyan Lafarge has two 4000 t/d clinker lines and one 5000 t/d clinker line, with a total capacity of 4.03 million tons. Jiangyou Lahao Shuangma has a 2500t/d production line with an annual capacity of 775000 tons.
