Recently, the board of directors of China National Building Material Company Limited announced that Mr. Zhang Jindong has resigned as the vice president of the Company with effect from 2 February 2024 due to retirement. Mr. Zhang has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and the Company and there is no other matter relating to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company. The Company would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Zhang for his contribution to the Company during his tenure as the vice president of the Company.
