On May 31, the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Congress decided to appoint and remove Zeng Jin as Secretary-General of the Beijing Municipal People's Government. According to
his public resume, Zeng Jin, male, Han nationality, born in February 1970, Changsha, Hunan Province, joined the work in August 1992, graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering, Southeast University, majoring in industrial and civil construction engineering, in-service postgraduate of land resources management, Department of Land Management, School of Public Administration, Renmin University of China, Doctor of Management, Senior Engineer.
Zeng Jin has worked in state-owned enterprises for a long time. At first, he worked in Beichen Group for 24 years. In 2016, he began to work in Jinyu Group. He served as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, director and general manager of Beijing Jinyu Group Co., Ltd. In November
2018, Zeng Jin was appointed as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Municipal Government; in June 2019, he was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the Haidian District Committee of Beijing and the Acting District Chief; and in January 2020, he was elected as the District Chief of Haidian District of Beijing. In August 2020, he was appointed Party Secretary and Chairman of Beijing Jinyu Group Co., Ltd. In March 2022, Zeng Jin was appointed Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Beijing Municipal People's Government.
