The mandatory national standard GB 175-2023 General Portland Cement (hereinafter referred to as the "New National Standard for Cement") formulated by the

Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will be implemented on June 1 this year. In order to ensure the quality and quality of cement, the new national standard of

cement puts forward specific requirements on improving the strength of cement, refining the requirements of fineness, specifying the components and standardizing the types of admixture used, and all the clauses are enforced. Industry insiders

have analyzed that after the implementation of the new national standard, the production cost of cement in most enterprises will increase by 10-30 yuan. With the increase of

cement production cost and the pressure of enterprise operation, cement manufacturers will certainly raise the price of cement.

According to China Cement Network Market Data Center, since May 20, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Liaoning, Hubei and other places have notified the increase of cement prices, ranging from 20 to 50 yuan, and the specific implementation remains to be observed. The implementation of

the new national standard may become an important opportunity for cement prices to rise.

It is understood that since this year, the contradiction between supply and demand of cement has intensified, the price has been declining all the way, and the profits of some manufacturers have fallen sharply or even lost money. With the implementation of the new national standard, the cost of cement production has increased, the space for price reduction has been reduced, or the price of cement has played a supporting role.
