The hourly average emission concentrations of particulate matter, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are not higher than 10 mg/m3 , 35 mg/ m3 and 50 mg/m3 , respectively. By the end of 2025, 50% of cement clinker production capacity will be transformed, cement clinker production enterprises in key areas will be basically transformed by the end of 2028, and 80% of cement clinker production capacity will be transformed nationwide.
At present, how many cement enterprises in the country can reach the above level? Where is the problem of ultra-low emission transformation? And how to solve it? Wu Shangan said that the cement industry is now under great pressure of environmental protection, not only introduced the latest ultra-low emission policy, but also began to investigate the inefficient, ineffective and backward facilities of cement plants, eliminating immature, inapplicable and instable emission control processes. For ultra-low emissions, a draft of performance classification for key industries has been issued recently, and monitoring and verification of cement enterprises in many provinces and cities have begun. Those who fail to meet the ultra-low emission standards should make plans when to complete the transformation.
"Compared with the pressure of environmental protection, the biggest pressure in the cement industry is the lack of money." Wu Shangan said frankly that enterprises should scientifically and reasonably choose the ultra-low emission technology suitable for their own enterprises according to their own economic situation and our talent allocation, which can not only withstand the environmental protection verification of the national environmental protection department, but also meet our emission requirements.
Wu Shangan believes that dust and sulfur dioxide are no longer a problem in the treatment of the three major pollutants in the cement industry, and the most important thing now is denitrification. There are many nitrogen oxide treatment process routes, which are difficult to choose, and the investment and operation costs are high, which is a great challenge for enterprises. For the cement industry, the biggest pressure is the lack of funds, so it is important to choose a technical route that can achieve ultra-low emission effect with less investment.
He believes that in terms of long-term use and economic benefits, high temperature and low dust SCR denitrification technology is more mature and stable among many denitrification processes. "For the cement industry, the vanadium-titanium catalyst of 300-350 degrees should be the most mature, and other denitrification catalysts need time to verify." Wu Shangan said that high temperature dust removal before denitrification can not only reduce the wear of catalysts and avoid poisoning, but also reduce the use of catalysts and ammonia.
