British Prime Minister David Cameron and Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne, who visited a transport infrastructure project together, said they would soon start investing in infrastructure in the country. George Osborne said that from 2014 to 2015, Britain will carry out more than 200 projects, including infrastructure projects in railways, roads, regional transport, airports, flood control and waste management.
Among them, 36 billion pounds of investment is planned to start this year, and these projects will provide more than 150000 construction jobs. In addition, nearly £ 38 billion will be invested in rail construction over the next five years.
According to George Osborne, investment in infrastructure across the country aims to create a more balanced and dynamic economy, which is also part of the long-term economic plan.
