Tong Damao is one of the earliest experts and professors engaged in cement research in China. His research career has witnessed the leap of China's cement industry from backwardness to modernization, and has made outstanding contributions to China's cement industry.
Tong Damao, male, was born in January 1929 in Hanshou, Hunan. He graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering of Zhejiang University
in 1952, and worked in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Nanjing Institute of Technology from April 1955 to October 1956. M ． Under the guidance of Kuznetsov, he studied as a graduate student. He has taught in Shenyang Institute of Building Materials Industry, Beijing Institute of Building Industry and Wuhan University of Technology. Professor, Department of Silicate Engineering, Wuhan University of Technology, obtained the qualification of professor in March 1987.
In 1978, he won the National Science Congress Award, in 1988, he won the Eureka Silver Award of the 37th Brussels International Invention Exposition in Belgium, and in 1997, he won the third prize of National Science and Technology Progress.
