On December 23, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Water Resources, the National Development and Reform Commission and the General Administration of Market Supervision jointly issued Announcement No.44 of 2024. In order to promote enterprises and parks to meet the water efficiency standards and improve the efficiency of industrial water use, in accordance with the requirements of the Notice on Organizing and Developing the Selection of Key Water Use Enterprises and Water Efficiency Leaders in Parks in 2024 (No.225 of the Joint Letter of the Office of Industry and Information Technology [2024]). The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Water Resources, the National Development and Reform Commission and the General Administration of Market Supervision have organized the selection of key water-using enterprises and water efficiency leaders in parks in 2024, and identified 82 water efficiency leaders and parks with leading demonstration and typical driving effects (see the annex for the list), which are hereby announced. The title of water efficiency leader is valid for 2 years from the date of publication.
Cement industry, Taiwan Cement (Guigang) Cement Co., Ltd.; Gezhouba Yicheng Cement Co., Ltd.; Fujian Tapai Cement Co., Ltd.; Gaoan Hongshi Cement Co., Ltd.; Baoshan Kungang Jiahua Cement Building Materials Co., Ltd. was listed in the list of key water-using enterprises and water efficiency leaders in the park in 2024.
