Recently, the Energy Conservation Supervision Center of Hunan Industrial Communication Industry released the Statistical Monitoring Report on Energy Consumption of Key Energy-consuming Industrial Enterprises in Hunan Province (January-March 2024), in which the energy-saving effect of cement industry is obvious.
Through the promotion of alternative fuels, implementation of energy-saving technological transformation, optimization of energy management and other measures, the comprehensive energy consumption per unit product of clinker in 18 of 38 clinker production enterprises has reached the benchmark level, and the output of clinker reaching the benchmark level accounts for 44.08% of the total output of clinker. According to
the report, although the overall trend of key energy-using industrial enterprises in the first quarter is good, the market situation in some industries is still grim, enterprises are still facing more difficulties in operation, and problems such as falling product prices and high pressure on capital turnover continue to restrict development. Through this dispatch, 8 clinker production lines in cement enterprises have been completely shut down.
In this regard, Hunan Industrial Communication Energy Conservation Supervision Center proposes to implement the upgrading project of manufacturing technology, accelerate the application of advanced and applicable equipment, and promote the upgrading of equipment to high-end, intelligent, green and safe direction. Strictly implement mandatory standards such as energy consumption, emission, safety and equipment elimination catalogue requirements, and eliminate substandard equipment in accordance with the law and regulations. We will promote the development and application of new energy-saving products, new technologies and new equipment, foster and strengthen strategic emerging industries, and develop new industrial productive forces. At a time when the
industry is facing severe challenges, it is of immeasurable strategic significance and practical utility to actively promote the upgrading of large-scale production equipment and actively promote the energy-saving technological innovation and environmental protection upgrading and transformation of the cement industry, so as to enhance the core competitiveness of cement enterprises and realize the grand blueprint of sustainable development of the industry.
To this end, China Cement Network will hold the 11th China Cement Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Technology Exchange Conference-Equipment Renewal Forum in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on June 13-14 . This forum will gather government leaders, industry technical specialist, scientific research institutions, universities, cement enterprises and equipment suppliers to discuss and analyze the practical path of equipment renewal and green upgrading in the cement industry, so as to promote the industry to move towards a more energy-efficient, greener and environmentally friendly future.
