Longkou Wanhua Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Penglai Zhonghai Cement Co., Ltd. raised objections and denied that the substandard products were produced by them. After investigation, the distributors were suspected of selling counterfeit products.

On January 8, the Market Supervision Bureau of Yantai City, Shandong Province, announced the results of industrial product quality supervision spot checks (cement) in 2023 by the Market Supervision Bureau of Yantai City. A total of 72 batches of cement products were sampled, of which 3 batches were unqualified. The nominal manufacturers of the

three batches of unqualified cement products are Longkou Wanhua Building Materials Co., Ltd., Penglai Zhonghai Cement Co., Ltd. and Yantai Kaixin Building Materials Co., Ltd. Among them, Longkou Wanhua Building Materials Co., Ltd. and Penglai Zhonghai Cement Co., Ltd. raised objections, denying that the substandard products were produced by them, and after investigation, the distributors were suspected of selling counterfeit products.
