The Research Group of the Center for African Studies of Peking University Visited the China National Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park, which is affiliated to Tianshan Stock Company

Recently, Liu Haifang, director of the Center for African Studies of Peking University, led a research group of eight people to conduct research and investigation in Zambia Industrial Park of China Building Materials. At the

symposium, the delegation listened to the Zambian Industrial Park about the basic situation of China Building Materials Group, China Material Cement and its business development in Zambia, and got a detailed understanding of the achievements of the Industrial Park in Zambia's production and operation, energy conservation and environmental protection, and fulfilling its social responsibility. He also made in-depth exchanges with the relevant departments of the industrial park.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the sand table of the sales building in the industrial park, the sintered brick branch factory and the self-planted vegetable garden in the park. The delegation highly appreciated the remarkable achievements of the industrial park in environmental construction, green low-carbon production, vegetation reclamation and greening, and staff safety and health protection and training, and praised the Zambian Industrial Park of China Building Materials as a typical representative responding to the national "the Belt and Road" initiative and the call of "going out" of central enterprises.

Liu Haifang said that through this survey, a large number of valuable first-hand information has been collected, which has a high reference value for the study of China-Zambia relations and China-Africa relations after the epidemic.
