this year, the State Council issued the 2024-2025 Action Plan for Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction, which clearly stated that by the end of 2025, the building materials industry needs to achieve energy saving of 10 million tons of standard coal and carbon dioxide emission reduction of 26 million tons. At the same time, the production capacity with low energy efficiency must be technically transformed or withdrawn from the market, and half of the cement clinker production capacity in key areas should be transformed into ultra-low emission. The introduction of this policy indicates that energy saving and carbon reduction has become one of the key tasks urgently needed to be completed in the cement industry.
