On December 17, the third meeting of the sixth session of the National Cement Standardization Technical Committee and the 2024 annual standard review meeting were held in Wuhan. Zhi Xiao, Assistant General Manager of China Building Materials Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Building Materials Institute, Li Yeqing, President of Huaxin Cement , Zhou Liwei, Deputy Secretary-General of China Building Materials Federation and Director of Standard Quality Department, and Cao yuanhui, Head of Standard Quality Department of China Building Materials Federation, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wen Zhaijun, Vice General Manager of China Building Materials Institute and Secretary-General of National Cement Standardization Technical Committee.
Zhou Liwei spoke on behalf of China Building Materials Federation. She pointed out that the Bidding Committee has made remarkable achievements in actively implementing national policies, carrying out research on green low-carbon standards, serving the construction of key national projects, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements standards, helping the digital transformation of cement industry and integrating with international standards. At present, the cement industry is facing multiple challenges such as the deep adjustment of external market demand and the urgent need for changes in internal development factors. The Bidding Committee should adhere to the standard guidance, increase the supply of innovative standards, carry out the effect analysis of standard implementation, strengthen publicity and personnel training, and put forward the focus and development direction of cement standardization in the future. Zhi Xiao expressed warm congratulations on the successful convening of the meeting, introduced the standardization achievements of China Building Materials Institute in the field of inorganic non-metallic materials, and highly affirmed the achievements made by the Standardization Committee in building a cement standard system adapted to the coordinated development of the market and promoting the high-quality development of the cement industry. He pointed out that low-carbon cement is a typical future industry, China Building Materials Institute has a comprehensive layout in the field of low-carbon cement, China's cement industry must firmly seize the historical opportunity to shape a new global competitive advantage. He emphasized that the Bidding Committee should strengthen standardization innovation in the application and promotion of low-carbon cement, digital transformation and upgrading, and comprehensive utilization of resources, actively expand new space for international cooperation, and enhance the international influence and voice of China's cement standards. He said that the General Institute will continue to provide all-round support to the Secretariat of the Bidding Committee to help the cement industry develop green, low-carbon and high-quality.
Li Yeqing reviewed the contribution of Huaxin Cement to the cause of standardization and emphasized the importance of standardization to the development of the industry. He said that Huaxin Cement is actively promoting green, low-carbon and intelligent transformation, leading the development of industry standardization through technological innovation. Huaxin Cement will uphold an open attitude, be willing to share the achievements of standardization construction with all partners, jointly meet the challenges, and promote China's cement industry to occupy a more favorable position in the global competition. Cement Standardization Committee, on behalf of the Secretariat of the Cement Standardization Committee, summarized and reviewed the work of the Cement Standardization Committee in 2024 from the aspects of standard system layout, standard project establishment and implementation, and standard internationalization, and elaborated on the focus of the next work. Wei Mao, Director of Technology Research and Development of Huaxin Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., Li Jinmei, Director of Beijing Guojian Lianxin Certification Center Co., Ltd., Sun Zhisheng, General Manager of Xiamen Aisiou Standard Sand Co., Ltd., made conference reports on the topics of "Introduction to Solid Fuel Recovery Technology in Cement Kilns", "Introduction to Carbon Accounting Standards and Green Product Evaluation Standards for Cement Enterprises" and "R & D and Application of Vertical Grinding and Shaping Equipment for Cement Spheroids".
