On April 25, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology released the list of cement clinker production lines in Guangdong Province in 2023. The list shows that as of December 31, 2023, there are 83 cement clinker production lines in Guangdong, with a total annual production capacity of 102 million tons (310 days, the same below). Among them, clinker production capacity is mainly distributed in Qingyuan, Meizhou, Zhaoqing, Yunfu and Huizhou. Qingyuan's clinker production capacity ranks first, with an annual clinker production capacity of 25.972 million tons.

According to the list, one clinker production line was put into operation in Guangdong in 2023, which is the 3 # 5000t/d clinker production line of Guangdong Qingxin Cement Co., Ltd.

Sixty-eight clinker production lines are in production, with a total annual clinker production capacity of 94.1315 million tons.

Fifteen clinker production lines are in a state of shutdown, of which eight are in a state of shutdown from 2016 to 2022 (five are unable to contact the person in charge of the enterprise, and one has completed capacity replacement), with a total annual clinker production capacity of 2.45179 million tons; Seven of them stopped production in 2023 (one of them is going through the relevant procedures of capacity replacement), with a total annual clinker production capacity of 5.1553 million tons.
