24 April, A delegation of 16 people from the Ministry of Mineral Security (MSD), the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS), the Workers' Industrial Injury Insurance Bureau (WCFCB), the Occupational Health and Safety Institute (OHSI) and other government departments of Zambia, as well as representatives of enterprises from all walks of life and Zambia Television Station, visited the Zambia Industrial Park of China Building Materials to carry out the theme of "Health and Safety Day".
China Building Material Zambia Industrial Park is one of the four excellent enterprises in occupational health and safety management in Zambia selected by the delegation, and its work in occupational health and safety management has been widely concerned and supported by all walks of life.
The delegation visited the central control room, the fired brick factory and the mining site successively, and inquired in detail about the health and safety work in the production of the industrial park. He highly appreciated the remarkable achievements made by the industrial park in green low-carbon production, recycling of mine topsoil waste, vegetation reclamation and greening, and staff safety and health protection and training, and praised the Zambian Industrial Park of China Building Materials as one of the highest level of greening, safety, cleanliness and standardization in Zambia. During the visit to the
fired brick factory, the delegation also watched the fire extinguisher drill and fire fighting drill, and fully affirmed the efforts made by the industrial park to strengthen the safety responsibility consciousness of the whole staff and the high level of fire fighting skills of the staff. China Building Materials Zambia Industrial Park will be invited to participate in Zambia's "International Occupational Health Day" to be held on April 28 to conduct on-site fire fighting demonstrations and share experiences.
