According to the public number of "Huiji Publishing" WeChat, at noon on November 22, 2024, Wang Mou, a worker in the No.3 courtyard of the second phase of Dongzhao Resettlement Area, and two workmates, after drinking, had a dispute in front of the construction site when they were looking for Li Mou, the team leader, to advance their living expenses. Wang Mou scratched Li Mou with a fruit knife, resulting in Li Mou's death on the spot. At present, Wang Mou, a criminal suspect, has been captured by the public security organs, and the case is being further processed. After the

incident, the relevant departments of Huiji District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province actively communicated with the victim's family members to coordinate their living assistance such as accommodation and meals; according to the demands of the family members, they urged the enterprises involved to cooperate with the accounting of Li's construction funds. 2019 to 2024, the victim, Li Mou, was responsible for the binding of some steel bars in the No.3 courtyard project of the second phase of Dongzhao Resettlement Area, with a total contract value of about 2.64 million yuan. As of November 20, 2024, about 2.51 million yuan has been paid to Li Mou and his workers, and the funds agreed by Zhengzhou Yijian Labor Service Co., Ltd. and the victim Li Mou have been paid. The remaining funds will be paid directly to the workers through the special account for migrant workers.
