On November 27, the official website of the Ministry of Housing and Construction issued a notice of investigation and supervision of major and above accidents in the production safety of housing and municipal engineering, which showed that at 16: Three people were killed in a collapse accident during the excavation of the sewage branch pipe at the East Airport Road construction site of the PPP project of Wusu (International) Airport in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.
The notice pointed out that at 10 o'clock on November 24, the Shanxi Provincial Housing and Construction Department reported the accident information through the National Information Platform for Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision, and did not strictly implement the requirements of the Notice on Further Improving the Reporting of Information on Production Safety Accidents in Housing and Municipal Engineering (Jianan Office Letter No.23, 2015), "For larger accident information, it is necessary to report the accident information." It should be submitted to the Ministry of Housing and Construction within 7 hours after the occurrence.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will conduct work interviews with the Shanxi Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department to jointly study the outstanding problems currently existing in the work of construction safety production in Shanxi Province, effectively strengthen the management of construction safety production, and clarify the next improvement measures.
