According to the relevant departments of Ordos City, the construction land of Dongsheng-Ordos Airport Railway Project has recently been approved by Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The total investment of the project is 7.913 billion yuan, the construction period is 3 years, the total length of the main line is 52.85 kilometers, starting from Dongsheng Station of the new inter-city railway, southward through Dongsheng District, Equipment Base, Kangbashi New Area, Ejin Horo Banner, Ordos Railway Station, Akang Logistics Park, and ending at Ordos Airport.
Dongsheng-Ordos Airport Railway Project is an integral part of the Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos Intercity Railway, which is the main line of the passenger transport system in Ordos City.
