On March 28, the 13th China Cement Industry Summit and TOP100 Award Ceremony hosted by China Cement Network was held grandly. At the meeting, Gao Changming, senior consultant of China Cement Network, made a keynote report on "Personal Views on Carbon Neutralization and New Cement Standards".
He said that under the background of the continuous promotion of global carbon neutrality action, China's cement industry is firmly moving towards the goal of carbon neutrality, and it is expected that by 2050, China's cement industry will be expected to achieve this goal. Mr.
Gao Changming stressed that, The key paths to realize this vision include but are not limited to the following aspects: reducing the use of clinker , giving full play to the function of low-carbon admixture, promoting green low-carbon cementitious materials, strengthening carbon dioxide capture, utilization and storage technology, using alternative fuels, and combining new energy technologies.
He believes that the introduction of the new version of GB 175-2023 General Portland Cement Standard will further improve the quality of cement products, play a vital role in promoting the high-quality development of the cement industry, and is an important achievement.
