It is understood that the total investment of the project is 1.8 billion yuan, which will be changed from 15 million tons per year to two phases of construction. The first phase is a production line with an annual output of 8 million tons, and the second phase is a production line with an annual output of 7 million tons.

On July 10,

2024, the Bureau of Ecology and Environment of Maanshan City, Anhui Province issued the Environmental Impact Report of the Construction Project of Dolomite Mine for Building Stones in yuanchong Mining Area, Hanshan County, Anhui Province (Re-approval) of Maanshan Southern Materials Co., Ltd.

It is understood that the total investment of the project is 1.8 billion yuan, which will be changed from 15 million tons per year to two phases of construction. The first phase is a production line with an annual output of 8 million tons, and the second phase is a production line with an annual output of 7 million tons.

At present, in the process of project construction, due to the change of construction conditions such as construction land, corridor and wharf, the construction content has changed, so it is re-submitted for approval. The construction of this project mainly includes three changes: mining, processing plant, coarse crushing station construction and transportation mode. The overall mining is changed into phased construction, the mining scale is divided into Phase I (8 million t/a) and Phase II (additional 7 million t/a), the layout of the processing plant is changed accordingly, and the transportation mode is changed from corridor with shipping to road transportation + corridor transportation. See the following table for details. The main product of this

project is the raw ore processed after mining. After the completion of the first phase, the annual output of 8 million tons of green, ecological and environmental protection high-quality aggregate will be sold through road transportation; after the completion of the second phase, the annual output of 15 million tons of green, ecological and environmental protection high-quality aggregate will be sold through roads, corridors and wharfs. The product scheme is shown in the table below. Phase II project construction shall be implemented when the

wharf and transportation corridor (not within the construction scope of this project) meet the construction conditions. If it is overdue, it shall be postponed. According to the progress of relevant formalities of the wharf, it is planned to complete the construction of the wharf and corridor in the fifth year. Established in April 2021

, Maanshan Southern Materials Co., Ltd. is jointly controlled by Hanshan County Urban Construction Investment Co., Ltd. (State-owned holding enterprise) and China Building Material Group New Tianshan Cement East China Materials Co., Ltd., both of which hold 50% of the shares.

In June 2021, Ma'anshan Southern Materials Co., Ltd. won the mining right of dolomite for building stones in yuanchong Mining Area, Hanshan County, Anhui Province for 705 million yuan . The dolomite mine for building stones in the mining area has 80.565 million cubic meters of transferred ore resources (22558 of 2,000 tons), with an annual mining capacity of 15 million tons and a total service life of 17 years.
