On March 24, Hengdian Dongci held an online presentation of its 2022 annual performance. In
this presentation, Hengdian Dongci disclosed that in 22 years, more than 80% of its photovoltaic products were exported to the European market, about 9% to Japan and South Korea, about 7% to the domestic market, and the rest were sold to newly developed Australia, Latin America and Africa. From January to February this year, 13.71 GW of modules were exported to 11 European countries, an increase of 6.2% over the same period last year.
Europe belongs to the company's traditional dominant market area. Hengdian Dongci will continue to strengthen the shipment of the dominant market, and will also increase the strength of other overseas markets. The proportion of Europe is expected to gradually decline from 2023 (the absolute volume will continue to rise).
The company's module shipments in the first quarter of 2023 are expected to be around 1.6GW. In 2023, the company plans to ship 11 GW , about 80% of which are components (about 9 GW), mainly distributed, and the overseas proportion is expected to be about 80%. Asked whether the
European photovoltaic localization policy will have an impact on the company's business, Hengdian Dongci said that at present, the EU's demand for diversification of energy supply will not implement a one-size-fits-all "double-reaction" policy for China's photovoltaic manufacturing as in the past, and the company has a full understanding of this. Will not repeat the same mistakes . The company will also choose the opportunity to establish production bases overseas according to the actual business needs, in order to avoid the impact of trade frictions and other factors on the development of enterprises.
Earlier, Hengdian Dongci released its annual report for 2022. During the reporting period, the company realized operating income of 19.451 billion yuan, an increase of 54.28% over the previous year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 1.669 billion yuan, an increase of 48.98% over the previous year.
At present, the Company has a battery capacity of 8GW and a module capacity of 7GW. With the gradual launch of new production capacity, it is expected that the battery capacity will be 14GW and the module capacity will be 12GW by the end of the year.
This year, the company's main projects under construction include:
6GWh high-performance lithium battery , the project has been in the stage of equipment commissioning;
The 6GW TOPCon battery project , which is scheduled to be completed and gradually invested by the end of the third quarter, and
the 5GW high-efficiency module project, which is scheduled to be completed and gradually put into operation in July.
