On March 26, the commencement ceremony of GCL Integrated 12 GW High-efficiency Photovoltaic Module Project was held in Funing GCL Industrial Park, Jiangsu Province.
This is another key project of Xiexin Integration after the start of the first phase of 10g W high-efficiency N-type TOPCON battery in Wuhu, Anhui Province.
According to the announcement of Xiexin Integration, the company signed the Investment Agreement of 12GW High Efficiency Photovoltaic Module Project with the Management Committee of Funing Economic Development Zone in Jiangsu Province on February 15. The total investment of the project is estimated to be about 2 billion yuan , covering an area of about 230 mu, with a construction area of about 120,000 square meters. The planned use is mainly for the construction of high-efficiency photovoltaic module projects and living facilities.
The project is expected to be put into production by October 30 , 2023. Shu Hua, president
of Xiexin Integration, said that the Funing project of Xiexin Integration adopts the most advanced automatic production equipment and intelligent manufacturing execution system in China to meet the market demand of mainstream and new high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, which will strongly support the landing of the company's main photovoltaic terminal strategy and further enhance the company's market share and industry status.
At present, Xiexin Integration continues to accelerate the layout of large-size and high-efficiency component production capacity, and is making every effort to promote the structural adjustment of component production capacity, focusing on building two component production bases in Hefei and Funing. fourth quarter of 2022, Hefei GCL Integrated 15GW large-size modules will be fully put into production, together with the Jiangsu Funing 15GW module project, which will be put into production by the end of October, it is expected that by the end of 2023, the effective production capacity of GCL integrated modules will exceed 30GW. In addition, on January 6 this year, Xiexin Integration announced that Hefei Xiexin Integration New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary, intends to sign the Joint Venture Agreement with Jiangsu Suneng Photovoltaic Technology Development Co., Ltd. to jointly invest in the establishment of a joint venture sales platform company.
Xiexin Integration said that through the industrial synergy of "Xiexin System", it will integrate the advantages of upstream granular silicon technology, midstream cell and component manufacturing, Xiexin brand and channel advantages to build a complete low-carbon industrial chain, further enhance the safety and stability of the company's supply chain, and improve the company's low-carbon components overseas premium capacity and market share.
