of July 18, six members of the research team of Yunnan Provincial Department of Water Resources went to Hanchuan City to investigate the management of river sand mining, accompanied by relevant leaders of the Provincial Department of Water Resources, Xiaogan Municipal Bureau of Water Resources and Lakes, Xiaochang County Bureau of Water Resources and Lakes and Hanchuan City.
The research team went to Maiwang Town of Hanchuan City to visit the centralized berthing point of ships and the illegal invisible sand suction pump seized by the public security department, and then took the No.86 of the Water Administration Supervision of Hubei Province to patrol the river, and watched the "Record of the Special Campaign for the Regulation of Illegal Sand Mining in Hanchuan River" on the Intelligent Water Conservancy Platform and held a discussion. At the
symposium, the head of Hanchuan Water Conservancy Department made a report on the management of river sand mining, the transfer of illegal mining cases to public security departments this year and the supervision of mining areas. The staff of the water conservancy departments of the two provinces then carried out exchanges and discussions, mainly involving the key and difficult issues in water law enforcement, such as cracking down on illegal sand mining, sand and gravel supervision in mining areas, and river dredging projects. At the end of the symposium, the investigation team consulted relevant information in the conference room.
This survey provides an opportunity for Hubei and Yunnan provinces to exchange and learn about water law enforcement, explore the typical practices of the two places, solve law enforcement problems and open up new ideas for water law enforcement in mutual learning and mutual help.
