2023, Conch Cement 's first 45t TR50D fuel version mine car "oil to electricity" project was successfully refitted and offline in Anhui Conch Construction Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. It was put into trial operation in Tongling Conch Palm Mountain Mine, marking the successful completion of the first phase of the Conch off-highway mining truck "oil to electricity" project.
Off-highway mining truck "oil to electricity" project has been planned since the fourth quarter of 2022. After many investigations and technical demonstrations, combined with the design concept of TR50E pure electric mining truck of Northern Stock Company, it was officially launched and implemented in March 2023. The project adopts the most advanced technology in the pure electric field of off-highway mining trucks, combines with the actual production of mines, and integrates advanced systems such as batteries, motors, vehicle control, motor braking energy feedback, etc. The vehicle has the functions of remote data download, remote fault diagnosis, remote control program writing, kinetic energy recovery and energy supplement.
During the implementation of the project, the technicians of the Marine Engineering Department provided practical and effective modification suggestions based on their rich experience in vehicle maintenance, and solved the technical problems such as the difficulty of pipeline layout, the unsmooth direction of the line, and the mismatch between the old interior of the cab and the new instrument installation caused by the "old vehicle but new technology" in the process of "oil to electricity".
The project completed technical transformation and commissioning and put into trial operation on July 12, 2023, and has been formally put into production up to now. The successful implementation of the off-highway mining truck "oil to electricity" project further verifies the feasibility of the technical route of transforming old fuel vehicles into pure electric vehicles, provides valuable experience for excavating and improving the use value of old mining trucks, and opens up a new road in reducing operating costs, improving equipment performance and implementing energy saving and environmental protection.
The road is blocked and long, the line is coming, the line does not stop, the future can be expected. Conch Cement will take the successful implementation of the first off-highway mining truck "oil to electricity" project as an opportunity to further discuss and optimize the transformation plan, reduce the transformation cost and improve the transformation performance.
