The mining right of a granite mine in Duchang, Jiangxi, was listed for sale at a starting price of 100 million yuan.

On July 18, Jiujiang Natural Resources Bureau announced that the mining right of granite for decoration in Sushan Mining Area, Duchang County, Jiangxi Province would be sold for 15 years (excluding one year of capital construction) at a starting price of 100 million yuan. The mining area of the

project is 0.24 square kilometers, and the minable amount of granite ore for decoration is 2,857,001 cubic meters, and the minable amount of granite ore for construction is 6,985,400 cubic meters. Starting and ending time of

2023 Duchang County is located in the north of Jiangxi Province and is administratively subordinate to Jiujiang City. The dominant minerals are sand for casting, tungsten, molybdenum and granite for decoration. The mines in Duchang County are mainly distributed in Sushan Township and Yangchuling, which are characterized by simple minerals and concentrated mining of main minerals.

Duchang County Mineral Resources Master Plan (2021-2025) indicates that by 2025, the total output value of the county's mining industry and its extended industries is expected to reach 10 billion yuan. We will steadily promote the exploration of mineral resources, and in 2025, we expect to add 1 new mineral deposits, including 0 large and medium-sized mineral deposits. It is estimated that the total amount of mining in the county is 21.3232 million tons, and the binding index (65% WO3) is 3200 tons (according to the index issued by the higher authorities). It is expected that the number of mines will not exceed 25, the total number of mines will be reduced by more than 30% compared with 2020, the proportion of large and medium-sized mines will reach more than 68%, the number of new mineral reserves will be 1, and more than 3 new green mines will be built.

By 2025, the total number of mines in Duchang County will not exceed 25, including 19 large and medium-sized mines. Compared with the 36 mines in 2020, the total number of mines decreased by 11, with a decrease rate of 30%; among them, the number of large and medium-sized mines increased by 9.
