In order to effectively promote the activation and utilization of industrial sites and continue the historical development, Huaxin 1907 Cultural Park of Huangshi Urban Renewal Industry Development Group Co., Ltd. plans to transform the old site of Huaxin Cement Plant into a national industrial and cultural heritage boutique hotel with cement as its theme.

On July 13, Mr. Masataka Yano of Tadao Ando Institute of Architecture made a field survey of the new packaging workshop and cement silo activation hotel project at the former site of Huaxin Cement Plant. Tadao Ando Institute of Architecture will be fully responsible for the architectural design of the hotel. Through the transformation of historical relics,

the project aims to form new use functions while protecting and displaying the original appearance of buildings, so as to revive the abandoned industrial space and integrate it into contemporary urban life, making it a model of adaptive reuse of China's industrial heritage.

It is reported that the project will introduce InterContinental Hotels Group's Indigo Hotel brand, which will be operated by InterContinental Hotels Group after completion.
