Quality Management of Ready-mixed Concrete Industry in Huai'an City, Jiangsu Province to a New Level

Recently, the Bulk Cement Office of the Jiangsu Provincial Office of Industry and Information Technology issued the Notice on the Special Inspection and Problem Rectification of the Premixed Concrete Production Enterprises in the Province in 2022 (Sugongxin Bulk [2023] 98), and the Premixed Concrete Production Enterprises in Huai'an City performed well in the comprehensive evaluation of on-site inspection. The on-site comprehensive evaluation scores of all the investigated enterprises were above 80; the enterprises with scores above 90 accounted for 87.5%, ranking first in the province. Recently, due to the fluctuation of the real estate market and the intensification of market competition, in order to comprehensively strengthen the quality management of ready-mixed concrete (mortar) production enterprises in Huai'an City and ensure the quality of ready-mixed concrete (mortar) products in Huai'an City, Huai'an City has continuously intensified its inspection efforts and increased the frequency of inspection, from organizing 1-2 inspections per year to quarterly inspection. Continuously strengthen the quality management of ready-mixed concrete industry in Huai'an City. Huai'an City has issued the Notice on Further Strengthening the Management of Ready-mixed Concrete (Huai Jian Fa [2018] 67), the Notice on Strengthening the Production Management of Ready-mixed Concrete (Huai Jian Fa [2020] 40), and the Notice on Further Strengthening the Laboratory Management of Ready-mixed Concrete Production Enterprises (Huai Urban and Rural Areas [2022] 86). From the aspects of raw materials, laboratory management, product production and so on, it puts forward requirements for ready-mixed concrete production enterprises, standardizes the quality behavior of the industry, and improves the quality control level of the industry. As of March 22

this year, a total of 24 ready-mixed concrete production enterprises in Huai'an City have been inspected by the Urban and Rural Construction Service Center. According to the inspection, the laboratory management of ready-mixed concrete production enterprises in some counties and districts has been significantly improved, and the quality of ready-mixed concrete in Huai'an City is generally under control.

Next, the Urban and Rural Construction Service Center will continue to strengthen the quality supervision of ready-mixed concrete industry, standardize the use and management of laboratories of ready-mixed concrete production enterprises, and promote the healthy development of ready-mixed concrete industry in Huai'an City.
