Jidong Cement: Independent Director Completed Pre-appointment Training and Obtained the Qualification of Independent Director

9, Jidong Cement announced that the company held the second provisional shareholders'meeting in 2023 on October 30, 2023, and elected Ms. He Jie as an independent director of the ninth board of directors of the company, whose term of office is the same as that of the ninth board of directors.

As of the date of issuance of the notice of the second extraordinary general meeting of the Company in 2023, Ms. He Jie has not yet obtained the qualification certificate of independent director. In order to better perform her duties as an independent director, Ms. He Jie has undertaken in writing to participate in the latest training for independent directors and obtain the qualification certificate of independent director recognized by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Recently, the board of directors of the Company received a notice from Ms. He Jie, an independent director, that she had participated in the pre-appointment training (online) for independent directors of listed companies held by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in accordance with relevant regulations, and obtained the Training Certificate for Independent Directors of Listed Companies issued by the Venture Enterprise Training Center of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
