In the first half of the year, the national investment in fixed assets (excluding farmers) was 24311.3 billion yuan, an increase of 3.8% over the same period last year (calculated on a comparable basis, see Note 7 for details). Among them, private fixed assets investment was 12,857 billion yuan, down 0.2% year on year. On a month-on-month basis, fixed asset investment (excluding farmers) increased by 0.39% in June.
In terms of industries, the investment in the primary industry was 515.2 billion yuan, an increase of 0.1% over the same period last year; the investment in the secondary industry was 7483.9 billion yuan, an increase of 8.9%; and the investment in the tertiary industry was 16312.3 billion yuan, an increase of 1.6%. In
the secondary industry, industrial investment increased by 8.9% year on year. Among them, investment in mining industry increased by 0.8%, investment in manufacturing industry increased by 6.0%, and investment in production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water increased by 27.0%. In the
tertiary industry, infrastructure investment (excluding the production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water) increased by 7.2% year on year. Among them, investment in railway transportation increased by 20.5%, investment in water conservancy management increased by 9.6%, investment in road transportation increased by 3.1%, and investment in public facilities management increased by 2.1%.
Regionally, investment in the eastern region increased by 6.4%, investment in the central region decreased by 1.7%, investment in the western region increased by 0.8%, and investment in the northeastern region increased by 2.2%.
According to the types of registration, the investment in fixed assets of domestic enterprises increased by 4.0%, that of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises decreased by 3.4%, and that of foreign enterprises increased by 3.4%.
