The first phase investment is 18 billion! Atlas Photovoltaic New Energy Industry Chain Project Signing

Atlas announced in the evening of July 16 that the company intends to invest in the construction of a photovoltaic new energy industry chain project in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total investment of about 18 billion yuan in the first phase of the project.

The project is divided into three phases, of which the first phase includes the annual production of 30GW single crystal rod pulling project, 80GW crucible project, 10GW single crystal slicing project, 10GW solar cell project, 5G W photovoltaic module project and 5G W related supporting products project; The second phase is the 25GW monocrystalline rod drawing project, 5GW monocrystalline slice project, 5G W solar cell project, 5GW photovoltaic module project and 5G W related ancillary products project; the third phase is the 25GW monocrystalline rod drawing project, 5GW monocrystalline slice project, 5GW solar cell project, 120,000 tons of industrial silicon project and 100,000 tons of polysilicon project. The total investment of

the first phase of the project is about 18 billion yuan, of which the fixed assets investment is about 13 billion yuan. The second and third phases will be negotiated separately based on the implementation of the first phase of the project and the demand of the photovoltaic market.

According to the announcement, the first phase of monocrystalline rod drawing project will start construction in July 2023 and is planned to reach the production capacity in March 2024; the first phase of other projects will start construction in September 2023 and is planned to reach the production capacity in September 2024.

The company said that investing in the construction of photovoltaic new energy industry chain projects in Hohhot can enjoy preferential policies related to the introduction of industries by the Hohhot Municipal Government.
