[Video] "Star Concrete" Is Coming: It's Twice as Strong as Ordinary Concrete

Scientists at the University of

Manchester have created a new type of material called Interstellar Concrete. Made

from outer space dust, potato starch and a little salt, it is twice as strong as ordinary concrete, making it ideal for construction work in outer space environments. The next step in the

project is to move the "interstellar concrete" from the laboratory to the application scenario, so that it can also be used in the Earth environment.

If used on Earth, Interstellar Concrete could provide a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional concrete.
