Recently, in order to further manage the quality of ready-mixed concrete sand, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, has strictly checked the quality of sand and gravel. From January to February 2023, housing and construction departments in Wenzhou, Zhejiang inspected the sand used by ready-mixed concrete enterprises within their jurisdiction. A total of 87 ready-mixed concrete enterprises were in production, and 100 groups of sand of various varieties were sampled.
Among them, 9 groups of sea sand were sampled, and the chloride ion content was all qualified; 14 groups of river sand, 4 groups should not produce concrete with strength grade above C55, 3 groups should not produce concrete with strength grade above C25, 6 groups can produce concrete with all strength grades, and 1 group can not be used for concrete; 77 groups of artificial sand (including 1 group for measuring chloride ion content and 76 groups for measuring stone powder content), 21 groups shall not produce concrete with strength grade above C55, 2 groups shall not produce concrete with strength grade above C25, and the rest can produce concrete with all strength grades.
