Shi Zhijun, Secretary of Huai'an Municipal Party Committee, and His Delegation Visited Conch Group for Investigation

2023, Yang Jun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Conch Group, met with Shi Zhijun, Secretary of the Huai'an Municipal Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress. Yan Fu, Secretary of Huai'an District Party Committee, Wu Bin, Member of the Party Committee and Vice General Manager of Conch Group, and Li Qunfeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Conch Cement, attended the meeting.

Yang Jun welcomed Shi Zhijun and his delegation, thanked Huai'an Municipal Committee and Municipal Government for supporting the development of Conch Group, and briefly introduced the industrial scale and business development of the Group. He said that Conch Group is actively building a new high-quality development model of "one base and five industries" based on cement manufacturing, with new energy, new materials, environmental protection industry, digital economy and international trade promoting each other, and accelerating its progress towards the goal of creating a world-class enterprise. Huai'an City and Conch Group have always maintained a good cooperative relationship between government and enterprises, hoping that both sides will strengthen exchanges, give full play to their respective advantages, continue to expand cooperation space and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.

Shi Zhijun thanked the conch for its warm reception. He said that Conch Group, as the leader of the building materials industry, has strong comprehensive strength. Huaian City, located in the Yangtze River Delta region, is an important central city in northern Jiangsu Province, with superior geographical location, long history and culture, and perfect industrial structure. It is hoped that the two sides will deepen exchanges and cooperation, improve the long-term liaison mechanism, firmly implement the project and promote common development. After the

discussion, Shi Zhijun and his delegation visited the exhibition hall of Conch Group, the intelligent plant of Baimashan Cement Plant, the carbon dioxide capture and purification project of cement kiln flue gas and the intelligent agriculture project.
