Recently, in order to further standardize the implementation of self-declaration evaluation methods for compulsory product certification and ensure the quality and safety of compulsory certification products, Zhongshan Municipal Market Regulatory Bureau has organized special supervision and inspection on the implementation of self-declaration evaluation methods for compulsory product certification throughout the city.
This special supervision and inspection is carried out by the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau. Five key areas, including low-voltage electrical appliances, electric tools, audio and video equipment, information technology equipment and safety glass , are selected as the objects of special supervision and inspection. The supervisors and technical specialist of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau form on-site inspection teams to carry out on-site supervision and inspection of the inspected objects within their jurisdiction, focusing on whether the relevant producers have products listed in the catalogue that fail to complete the self-declaration procedure without authorization to leave the factory, sell or import, and fail to comply with the provisions of the specific product certification rules. Failure to apply to the system for product change, expansion, unauthorized delivery, sale and import, failure to apply CCC marks as required, and failure to engage in production, delivery and sale as required. Inspection teams focus on key issues on the spot, record the inspection situation truthfully, solidify evidence in time, and transfer suspected illegal acts to law enforcement departments for investigation and punishment according to law.
