"Last year, the cement industry had a hard time. Statistics from the Bureau of Statistics showed that production fell by about 10%, profits fell by as much as 60%, and high costs in the upstream were not passed on to the downstream." Hou Jian, general manager of Dongfang Hope Chongqing Cement , summed up the cement market in 2022 at the "50 people in cement economy" forum held on March 14.

Hou Jian said that he hoped that the cement market would be better this year. Although Dongfang Hope Group is not the leader of the cement industry, it will never act as a "spoiler".
