25GW of renewable energy! Shandong Dongying City Carbon Peak Work Plan Issued

Recently, the Dongying Municipal People's Government issued a notice on the carbon peak work programme of Dongying City.

The circular pointed out that we should vigorously develop new energy sources. Give full play to the advantages of resource endowment, speed up the construction of 10 million kilowatt integrated base of wind and solar energy storage and transportation in saline-alkali beach land in northern Shandong, actively promote the diversified utilization of hydrogen energy, geothermal energy and biomass energy, and by 2030, the installed capacity of renewable energy power generation will reach 25 million kilowatts .

We will comprehensively promote the large-scale development of photovoltaic power generation , relying on the abundant land resources such as saline-alkali beaches, ponds and salt fields in the city, and adopt the "photovoltaic plus" multi-industry integration development model. The large-scale centralized photovoltaic power generation project of "three bases and one demonstration area" has been actively laid out and constructed. We will promote the large-scale development of state-level county-wide roof distributed photovoltaic pilot projects in Hekou District, offshore floating photovoltaic pilot projects and pile-based offshore
