Carbon emissions and pollutant emission intensity will be further reduced. The Implementation Plan of Carbon Peak in the Industrial Sector also puts forward the overall development goal of continuously reducing the carbon dioxide emission intensity of key industries during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and basically establishing a modern industrial system characterized by high efficiency, green, recycling and low carbon during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
In recent years, China's cement industry has made great progress in pollutant emission reduction and green development, but it still faces many challenges in co-disposal, RDF/SRF, energy management and control, CCUS and other technical fields, which need to be innovated and broken through.
