provided by China Railway No.9 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. The Espino Highway Project in Bolivia is located in the ESPINO-CHRAGUA-BOYUIBE area of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, with a total length of 159.4 meters and a pavement width of 7 meters. It is designed as asphalt concrete. The project is managed by the South American Branch of China Railway International Group on behalf of China Railway, and the Dalian Branch of China Railway Ninth Bureau is responsible for the asphalt pavement paving construction of the whole line. Since the construction of asphalt pavement began in October 2021, the project headquarters and branch teams have worked together and cooperated closely, focusing on the target task of opening to traffic on schedule, striving to overcome the impact of oil and material shortages caused by various emergencies suc H as epidemics, seizing the golden period of construction in dry season, and making full use of machinery and manpower. Strictly control the asphalt mixture mixing, transportation, temperature control, loose paving thickness, rolling process, joint treatment and other links to ensure that the paving flatness and technical quality parameters meet the requirements. In the meantime, the project department organized the labor competition of "daring to leap over the guarantee of performance, pursuing excellence and creating national excellence". Chinese managers and Bolivian workers worked in two shifts, working 18 hours a day. All the construction personnel worked together to promote the early completion of the asphalt paving project on the whole line. After
the highway is completed and opened to traffic, it will not only facilitate the passage of residents, but also greatly promote the economic development of the cities at the beginning and end of the highway and along the highway, bringing benefits to Bolivian nationals. At the same time, the highway is also conducive to the cooperation and win-win between Paraguay, Argentina and Bolivia in many aspects, and improves the living standards of the local people.
