As a person with nearly 40 years of experience in the cement industry, Ma Weiping analyzed the current situation of the cement industry. He said that the situation in the cement industry was really bad last year, and this year there will be a small spring, but this small spring should be very short. In fact, the turning point of cement demand has come, but it is covered by the appearance of the epidemic, and this year's demand can only reach the level of last year.

From the perspective of the cement industry in the United States, the annual cement consumption per capita in the United States has been more than 300 kilograms for many years. The view that the annual cement consumption per capita in China will stabilize at 700 kilograms in the future is more objective. The annual cement consumption per capita of 700 kilograms corresponds to an annual output of about 1 billion tons. From the current annual output of 2.1 billion tons to the annual output of 1 billion tons, the decline is relatively large.

Under this premise, what the cement industry should do is: First, to stabilize, the cement industry should stabilize the peak, stabilize the price , even if the demand declines, but also strive to make the cement price curve as stable as the United States and other countries; Second, we should make steady progress , which means high-quality development. If the situation is the same as last year, the so-called intelligent, digital and green upgrading is empty, because there is not enough money to support it. Only by making steady progress can we continue to promote the high-quality development of the cement industry. Third, we should have an accurate judgment of the future situation, in the current situation, the annual cement output of about 2.1 billion tons is already a very good state, we should have expectations for this.
