An additional 2.065 million tons can be mined in two sand and gravel mining areas in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.

Under the guidance and concern of Nanchang Water Conservancy Bureau, Nanchang Sand Mining Office and Nanchang Water Conservancy Bureau, the No.8 and No.9 mining areas of South Ganzhong were approved on July 11.

The approved two mining areas can be exploited by 2.065 million tons, which will effectively solve the sand demand of major key construction projects, livelihood projects, mixing stations and other markets in Nanchang County and its surrounding areas.
